#TVLAW2026 The Basics of Representing Veterans CLE

On November 11, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Houston-area veteran legal service providers are hosting "The Basics of Representing Veterans," a virtual Continuing Legal Education (CLE) session. This session offers 3 hours of CLE credit, including 1 hour of ethics. The CLE will fulfill the VA's initial accreditation requirements for attorneys who submit their VA accreditation application prior to the CLE. Additionally, the CLE satisfies the VA's 3-year and 2-year continuing education requirements for maintaining accreditation.

While the event is aimed at attorneys, anyone can join to learn about the basics of VA benefits, the VA claims process, and discharge upgrades/character of discharge determinations.
